Day 246 - Rehabilitation and Renewed Commitment

I've had so many people wondering how I've been doing with recovery and I'm happy to say that it is going very well.

I've been riding my indoor smart-trainer (which adjusts resistance automatically) consistently since November with the full intention of being back in Seattle for the grand depart August 5th, 2017.  It has been a slow process but things are really getting back to normal as of late.  I've already put 1,197 miles (both virtual and outdoors) on my legs so far this year, so far so good.

In fact, I've purchased my airfare and a place to stay in San Diego.  So I am in and extremely committed.

Yesterday I complete my longest and most challenging ride since the accident.
A windy 63 miles with 5,259 ft of elevation gain.

A far cry from my rehab ride in San Diego last year (Jenn most of the pedaling).

Once again I'm fundraising for Bike the US for MS and any level of contribution would be greatly appreciated.  Allowing me to join again in 2017 has really been a source of motivation and was the lift of spirit that I needed last year.  Please help support their cause.
